Can you accommodate children?
Yes, we welcome the chance to cook for our little friends. We have two high chairs and spacious benches to stretch out on. However, our table is in a working kitchen and request that parents keep their children focused on the food aspect and not the hot grill.
What is your cancellation policy?
We require a non-refundable deposit to lock in your date with the balance of your check due at the end of your dinner. If there is a state of emergency or snow emergency we will happily reschedule your dinner and apply any deposit(s) to a future event.
Can we choose our menus?
Our menus are custom-built daily based upon what is in season and our chefs' discretion. We like to know of any allergies, aversions or religious concerns at the booking of the table to help guide our menu. We have found this approach to be the best way to feature local, seasonal cuisine. Lay back and enjoy the ride.
I have an amazing bottle of wine that I'd like to bring to pair with my main course.
Unfortunately, our Cambridge license does not allow BYOB. We work with amazing wine vendors and we welcome suggestions for our wine list to feature for your dinner.
What is included in the rate for the table?
The charge includes either six courses ($75) or nine courses ($100) of our amazing chef-driven, farm-to-table cuisine. Gratuity and Massachusetts meals tax of 7% are not included. We offer beer, wine and sparkling water for an additional charge. Cambridge tap with Acme ice are complementary.
I'm a vegetarian and would like to join my localvore, omnivore friends. Can I have a non-meat option for my menu?
Yes. We welcome the opportunity cook for our guests that celebrate vegetables and avoid locally-sourced, humanely-raised meat. Please let us know how many of your friends require a vegetarian menu and we will substitute items on the menu for their enjoyment. We also offer vegetarian and vegan menus for the whole table that feature local ingredients—prepared with care and concern.
Can I bring my own music for the dinner?
We believe that music is food for your soul and that one should be well-fed—especially when enjoying tasty food. Our chefs play their favorite music for your dinner, but welcome folks with a an awesome playlist to bring an iPod that easily connects to our speaker system.
How long does a six-course or nine-course meal last?
We take reservations at 7:00 or later. Our clients have found that our six-course dinner lasts about 2 hours and our nine-course dinner approximately three hours.
How late can we stay after our meal?
We close at 12:00 am and serve our last alcoholic beverage at 11:30.
Is there parking?
There are six parking spaces (metered until 6:00 pm) on Massachusetts Avenue directly in front of Season to Taste. Please do not park in Norton's Liquor's lot or you will be towed.
How does payment work?
We apply your non-refundable deposit to the balance of your check with payment due at the end of your meal. We accept checks, credit cards and cash.
